Indian Plastics Institute (IPI) as a part of its education initiatives, and training & manpower development programs has designed a part time education course leading to Diploma of Indian Plastics Institute (DIPI). This course is designed to cater to the needs of technical manpower at manager / supervisory levels /new entrepreneur of the fast growing plastic & allied industries

Diploma of Indian Plastics Institute (DIPI) Course Content & Subjects:

 

Paper 1         :           Polymer Science & Technology

Paper 2         :           Processing of Plastics

Paper 3         :           Product design & Design of Molds and Dies

Paper 4         :           Industrial Management

 

The participants will be trained & exposed in the understanding of:

·        Plastic Materials their Properties, Applications & Limitations.

·        Manufacture of Plastic Raw materials and End Product.  

·        Polymer Additives & Compounding.

·        Processing Equipment, Tooling & Processing Techniques.

·        Plastic Product design.

·        Mould / Die design & Fabrication & simulation.

·        Testing & Evaluation of plastic materials and end products.

·        Industrial Management

 

The highlights of this course include:

·        Faculties from eminent universities, Industry Stalwarts and Professionals will be train the students.

·        225 hours course (Theory 225 Hours) including Theory, real time assignments & practical exposure.

·        A YouTube *Video and or online Industry video on Identification of common polymers by simple methods, & practical exposure to Testing & Analysis of plastics (with a copyright act 1957) 

·        IPI will conduct examinations every year on all India basis in the month of June/July in all the four subjects. Successful candidates will be awarded the Diploma of Indian Plastics Institute.

·        Certificate of participation and successful course completion awarded to candidates who choose not to take up the examination on submission of the required class assignments

 

The course commences from the 2^nd week of September to next year July followed by DIPI Course Examination

·        2 years student membership is Rs.600/- + 18% GST Rs.108/- = Rs.708/-

·        Examination Fee Rs.1,000/-
